One of my favorite Artists, Miguel dropped his much anticipated album this past week & I couldn’t be more thrilled. I haven’t stop listening to it since it was released.  Below is the track list, which includes the ballad that is shaking the world right now, “Adorn”.  I predicted this song being a solid, timeless hit about 8 months ago with my brother @DJESSO. I’m so happy to see R&B taking a turn for the better !

Stacey Dash talks Politics, Mitt Romney & Twitter!

Recently Ms. Dash, a well known African-American actress tweeted that she was voting for Republican Candidate Mitt Romney in next month’s election. As one would expect, Stacey got some really cruel backlash from fans, twitter followers & even some of her friends & family. Stacey appears on CNN yesterday to speak on her views  ——–> VIEW VIDEO HERE.

While watching the video, I almost sided with Stacey, not because of her choice, but the reasoning behind her choice. Halfway through the video, my mind was changed, after watching her body language and hearing her condescending tone in reference to the Obama campaign & their supporters. Stacey, who also says that she was an Obama supporter in 2008 seems to have SOME knowledge of the subjects, is convinced that we are not united. I have never seen this country more united than it then it was in November 2008, except for ONE day and that was 9/11.

I say to all of the Stacey Dash haters, don’t worry about bashing Stacey for her opinion, you just make sure you voice yours ! #OBAMA2012

Bun Love.

The “high” bun or the “sloppy bun” as I’ve nicknamed it has become ever so popular in this past year. Not sure if this is because us ladies have just gotten tired of taming these manes, or maybe we just love the way it accentuates a fully beat face or an au naturale look. Either way, I wanted to be the one to give you precise instructions on how to perfect the effortless look:

 This look takes less effort than one may think.. there are no rules! Just have enough hair to make the bun look full and appeasing.

1) Brush and tame ponytail to desired height and have plenty of bobby pins & flat pins around just in case you have stray pieces (which happens a lot of times with layered hair).

2) Use ponytail holder and begin to tie hair, on the last go ’round of the holder.. dont pull the hair all the way through, instead.. leave it there and pull the sides of the bun out, to both expand the circumference of the bun, as well as tighten the holder on the base of the ponytail.

3) You may have a few spare pieces towards the end, but use some pins and edge control and you have perfected the “high, sloppy, bun” !

Tyga & Nick Drop “Muthaf*cka Up”!

Is this really Roman’s Revenge?! The fact that our dear Nicki can make us love her all over again after such a horrid Grammy performance? I think so. Tyga & Minaj both come hard on this track. Nicki actually let her LYRICAL abilities show and for that reason this song is on repeat.. This is Tyga’s year and I’m actually excited about Roman Reloaded.

RICK ROSS HAS SEIZURE ON AIRPLANE !

Rapper’s flight is forced to make emergency landing after he loses consciousness. Rick Ross is being treated by paramedics after the rapper lost consciousness on a flight from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Memphis to open a new Wing Stop location earlier today. The plane was forced to make an emergency landing to save him.

TMZ has reported that the emergency call went out to paramedics at 12:55 p.m. ET and that the caller reported that Ross was suffering a seizure. Though TMZ says that paramedics are “desperately” attempting to resuscitate Ross, rapper Wale tweeted around 1:40 p.m. ET that he “just talked to Ross…he’s 100 pct ok.”
